A Day with MOM, and a New Top!

Had the best day today. I love to sew, and knit, and anything else that involves picking out colors and textures, and making something beautiful in the end. I think what I love more than that is that my Mom will spend a day doing it with me. I know I have mentioned this before, but Kev and I leave in less than 2 weeks for our cruise. Columbia is a tad warmer than NH is right now, so I just ha dto make this really cool Amy Butler tank shirt pattern I found last week. Now, my house is about the size of a 1 cent stamp, so I called mom and she said come on over and we’ll sew.

So excited when I got up this morning, I got dressed and headed down the road to Mom’s. Within half an hour, we had our tea ready, and the patterm ready to cut…

Grace kept a close eye on our progress…

And just after lunch I had a fabulous tank shirt…

Tomorrow I plan on making some jewelry for the cruise. And (hopefully) knitting some on Kevin’s sleeve.

Until then… craft on!
