… You are the bane of my existence! I know you will be incredible when you are done, but I can’t even bring myself to pick you up! I despise your icky sneaky patterned increases! BUT… I hereby put you on notice that you MUST get finished! You will NOT defeat me! 4 years in the making, and you now have to get off my needles! I have cool patterns coming in the mail.
I am making 3 pairs of the short ones, one for Katie, one for Maddy and one for me! (And maybe Adrea for Christmas next year)
And then there is THIS beauty…
This cardigan will be made out of a scrumptious watermelon mohair that has been in my stash for almost 15 years. I CAN NOT wait!
These are the simple, yet compelling, reasons the Kevin sweater needs to be finished ASAP. My goal is to get Kevin’s sleeves done by the end the weekend. I am truly going to need some encouragement here, so please feel free to reach out and message me.
That being said… Here is a fabulous picture of Me and Kevin (not in sweaters) at the Fort in Cartagena…
This face, right here, is why I am going to struggle through this silly sleeve…
I love you, hon, and I will love your sweater, too, once it is off my needles!

I hope that sweater is on the needles and the needles are in your hand right now, and every time there’s nothing else in your hands, cuz otherwise, that old sweater will defeat you. But YOU CAN DO THIS – ONE LOOP AT A TIME.

You CAN do this! Just keep remembering who it’s for – that works for me sometimes by just remember who the recipient is going to be. That alone can keep you going, along with knowing that mohair is trying to jump out of your stash once those sleeves are off the needles. 🙂
Have a GREAT rest of the week and a blessed weekend full of sleeves.
