Its a knitting marathon

I am coming to the realization that because it is school vacation, i will NOT be knitting for the full total time.

Right now I am starting my day off with my knitters at my local yarn shop. I will be here until noon, and hopefully get this square  finished so I can have the needles for my sweater.

Off to knit!

What yarn are you using? I like the speckly texture of it. And your Dunkin Donuts coffee cup reminds me that there ARE alternatives to Starbucks 🙂 I have always loved Dunkin coffee but their locations are more scattered in my area; whereas it seems as though there’s a Starbucks at every corner!

I love the yarn – it is easy to knit with, and looks awesome! IT is Encore Tweed by Plymouth Yarn. It’s a worsted weight Acrylic/Wool/Rayon blend, and was only $6.50 a skein. The only down side is that the HORRIBLE garter stitch took up most of the skein. I probably could have gotten 3 of the checkerboard squares out of it.
